Founded in 2015 in Avignon, La Compagnie du Nouveau Monde is a professional theater company that offers high-quality, lively, and accessible theater. It brilliantly revisits the great texts of the classical repertoire (Cyrano de Bergerac, Le Cid, Les Fourberies de Scapin, Le Malade Imaginaire, etc.), while also showcasing powerful contemporary works (Tonino Benacquista, Carole Greep, Rémi De Vos).
Present every year at the Festival OFF d'Avignon and active in many schools, the company has established itself as a key player on the current theater scene. In 2025, it will present La Deuxième Mort de Laura Belle, a thrilling stage thriller set in 1950s America, already acclaimed at the OFF 2023 and selected for the Festival Polar de Cognac.
