Vallon Des Oliviers Organic Olive Oil is an olive oil made in the most highly awarded olive mill in France.
This olive oil is made from a blend of native olives, including Salonmenque, Aglandau, and Picholine varieties.
Its color is pale green with yellow reflections, and the dominant aromas are vegetal with hints of hay and dry almonds. It is a balanced oil of light intensity without the bitterness or spiciness of other oils.
Both raw and cooked, this oil goes well with all types of salads and cooking. It is a light oil for light meals.
The olives used to produce this oil are grown in certified organic orchards located in Aix-en-Provence. As for the Château Virant mill, it is also certified organic. Thus, all stages of the manufacturing process benefit from organic certification.

Environmental distinction
Château Virant has an HVE 3 certification issued by the French government. This distinguished label is only obtained after having reached the highest level of environmental certification for farms. This label signifies sustainable production and practices with careful management of natural resources.
Origin
These olives come from the partner groves of Château Virant located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-D’Azur regions.
How it's made
To make Vallon Des Oliviers Organic Olive Oil, the olives are harvested from Château Virant’s partner groves and brought to the Château for processing. Oil is stored in vats year round, and oil is bottled shortly before shipping.

Très bien, la bouteille a des dimensions un peu trop haute et ne rentrait pas dans le placard et l'étagère destinée à huiles et vinaigres de ma cuisine. Pas grave, il a suffit de remonter l'étagère du dessus pour que cela rentre.
