PDO White Wine
The Cuvée AOP Blanc is a wine particularly appreciated by our customers and recognized by the professionals of the wine industry. Noële Cheylan, founder of Château Virant, is particularly fond of this wine as she confides to some of our close customers that it is one of her favorite wines. The reason is simple, it is a mineral wine, perfectly balanced. Its grape varieties, Rolle, Grenache Blanc, Ugni Blanc and Sauvignon, give it an aromatic mouth of fresh fruit, with notes of citrus and exotic fruit. Technicians speak of "thiolated" aromas, nowadays very appreciated in light-colored wines. As for the minerality of the wine, it finds its origins in certain plots of land used for its production. Indeed, it is not uncommon at Château Virant that the vines are planted in soils poor in soil and rich in stones.

|Location||The plots are located in the vicinity of Lançon de Provence, Velaux and La Fare-les-Oliviers.|
|Age of the vineyards||Only vines aged between 3 and 25 years are used to produce the Cuvée AOC Blanc.|
|Planting density||The average density of our vineyard is 4,000 vines per ha.|
|Floors||The vines are planted on a clay-limestone soil, rich in minerals.|
|Particularity of the vineyard plantation||Some of the vines are planted in a soil known as stony, poor in soil, giving a singular minerality to this vintage.|
|Type of viticulture||The entire estate is certified High Environmental Value Level 3 (HVE3), the most demanding sustainable agriculture there is.|
|Type of harvest||The harvest is done mechanically to ensure the safety of the crop.|
|Winery||The vats used are made of stainless steel and thermo-regulated. This modern vat room method allows a perfect control of the wine making process.|
|Vinification||The Cuvée AOP Blanc is vinified by direct pressing and before the cold fermentation, a cold stabulation is carried out.|
|Bottling date||4 months after the harvest.|
